Cole Ruwe Award

Starting in 2016 the Cole Ruwe Award has been handed out to the high school hockey player who best represents Pekin Hockey. The recipient must show passion, act in a sportsmanlike manner towards opponents and officials, possess strong leadership skills both on and off the ice and be held in high regard by his teammates and coaches. 

The award is named after Pekin Hockey Alumn Cole Ruwe for his passion and dedication to the game of hockey. Cole beloved by many teammates and respected by opponents throughout his career at the High School, Junior, College, and Minor Pro Levels
